# New LinkedIn connection

> LinkedIn reports a new 1st-degree connection: usually someone who accepted your invitation, sometimes someone whose invitation you accepted.

Reported up to about 8 hours after it happened.

* `detected_at` is when LinkedIn reported the connection.
* Missed events are not replayed. To catch up, use [List your LinkedIn connections](https://docs.groovin.ai/reference/api/list-relations.md) with `connected_after`.
* `picture_url` is a temporary LinkedIn image link.
* `contact.sales_nav_profile_id` is always `null` on this event.
